Joao "John" Z. Viegas, 63 of New Bedford, passed away at home on March 10, 2022. Born in Olhao, Algarve, Portugal he was the son of the late Joao Jose Viegas and Maria (Domingos) Veigas. Joao is survived by his sister Natercia Barrigas and her husband Frank of New Bedford; his nieces, Ashley Barrigas and Courtney Barrigas; and great niece, Mila Fernandes and great nephew, Evander Fernandes. His services will be private.
