Adriano Valadao

Adriano M. Valadao 57 of New Bedford passed away Sunday April 3, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Maria Olga (Medeiros) Valadao and son of Maria (Luz) Valadao of New Bedford and the late Manuel C. Valadao. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Adriano was born in Lajes, Terceira, Azores and had lived in New Bedford since 1974. He was formerly employed in the construction industry as a laborer. Mr. Valadao was a member of the St. Michael Club, serving as vice president. Survivors include his wife, his mother, his son Ryan Valadao and his wife Kathy Arruda-Valadao , his sister Helia Carreiro and his granddaughter, Grace Valadao all of New Bedford. Also nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be said 10am Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-9pm.Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that masses be said or one hour of adoration in his memory.
