Alberta Freitas

Alberta (Grover) Freitas 88 of Fairhaven passed away , at home, on October 31, 2018. She was the wife of the late Richard "Rick" Freitas and daughter of the late John and Alberta (Lackie) Grover Sr. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Survivors include her children Holly David of Fairhaven, Ricardo Freitas of New Bedford, Jeffrey Freitas of New Bedford and Linda Boucher of Fairhaven. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. At her request she will be cremated. A memorial remembrance for Alberta will be held Sunday November 25th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Fairhaven Village 330 Main St. Fairhaven, Building D.
