Alice (Pinto) Costa 84 of New Bedford passed away Thursday July 11, 2013 at the Sippican Healthcare Center. She was the widow of Alvaro “Al” F. Costa and daughter of the late Edward and Gloria (Eira) Pinto. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Costa was the office manager for Manly manufacturing until her retirement. Survivors include her son Mark Costa of New Bedford; her brother Augusto Pinto of New Hampshire; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 10:30 Saturday, July 13th at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
