Alice Duarte

Alice Duarte 90 of New Bedford passed away at the Hallmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday November 2, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Seraphin and Maria (Freitas) Duarte. She was a lifelong New Bedford resident. Miss Duarte was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and the Holy Ghost Society of her church. Survivors include her sister-in-law Beatrice Duarte, her nieces Catherine A. Souza and Joanne Deneault; her great nephews Joshua Souza, Daniel Souza and Stephen Deneault; a great niece Christine Deneault all of New Bedford. She was the sister of the late Edward Duarte, George Duarte and Serafin Duarte Jr. Her funeral mass will be said Monday 10am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in St. John’s cemetery. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
