Alice Lauzon

Alice J. (Jesus) Lauzon 93 of Fairhaven passed away Thursday, September 7 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Luis and Deolinda (Aguiar) Jesus.  Alice was born in New Bedford and lived in the area her entire life. She worked at the Outlet Co. as a sales clerk for many years. Alice enjoyed karaoke  and had a love for dogs of all sizes. Being 1 of 12 children, Alice enjoyed her many nieces and nephews. Survivors include her son Robert W. Sylvia of New Bedford, her brother Raymond Jesus and wife Lucille of New Bedford, her sisters Deolinda Alves and her husband William of New Bedford; and Irene Vieira and her partner John Medeiros of Dunedin, FL; grandchildren Kara Sturgeon and her husband Shane of New Bedford, Derek O’Brien of New Bedford, Colin O’Brien of New Bedford and John Hemmings of Cape Cod; her godchildren Sandra Jesus of New Bedford and Debbie Arruda of New Bedford.  Her services will be private.
