Amelia Rodrigues

Amelia (Carvalho) Rodrigues 85 of New Bedford who passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at Alden Court. She was the wife of the late Carlos Augusto Rodrigues, whom she now joins in heaven, and daughter of the late Antonio Carvalho and Rosa Albuquerque. She was born in Portugal and later moved to New Bedford in 1966. She was formerly employed as a seamstress at Calvin Clothing.  Survivors include her sons Daniel Rodrigues and John Rodrigues; her daughter Lucie Nogueira and her grandchildren Vanessa, Cristian, Sofia, and Isabella. A service will be held Tuesday evening at 7pm during visiting hours, which will be held 5-8pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home. A procession will be going to Pine Grove Cemetery at 1:30pm on Wednesday for burial.
