Antonio Cambra

May 31, 1913 — January 19, 2013

Antonio “Tony My Country” Cambra 99 of Acushnet passed away Saturday January 19, 2013 at the Southeastern Mass Health and Rehab. Center. He was the son of the late Joaquim and Anna (Resendes) Cambra. He was born in Fairhaven and lived in the South Coast area all of his life. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Mr. Cambra was employed as a material handler for Acushnet Co. until his retirement. He was an avid and skilled duckpin bowler. Survivors include his sister Pauline Medeiros of Acushnet and his niece Mina Medeiros. His funeral mass with his cremated remains present will be said 10:30 am on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
