Antonio L. Castro

Antonio L. Castro, 72, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his caring family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Born in Mourilhe, Portugal, he was the beloved son of the late Francisco Castro and Maria (Leal) Castro, and a devoted husband to his wife, Maria Gloria (Branco) Castro.

Antonio was a dedicated landscaper who worked for various companies until his retirement. A true family man, he cherished spending time with his loved ones and friends. He found profound peace in nature.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Gloria; his mother, Maria Castro; his daughter, Cristina Castro; his son, Alex Castro and his wife, Ashley, along with their children, Marcio and Julianna; his sister, Maria F. Carvalho and her husband, Joseph Carvalho; and his niece and godchild, Victoria Carvalho.

A visitation will take place at the Boulevard Funeral Home on Friday, August 7th, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11:00 AM, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
