Antonio Fernandes

Antonio Goncalves. Fernandes 90 formerly of Acushnet passed away Monday April 29, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He is the husband of Arminda (Cabeleira) Fernandes and son of the late Maria doGoncalves Curral. He was born in Gralhos, Montelerge, Portugal and had lived in this area since 1956. He was formerly employed as a laborer for Warren Brothers until his retirement. Antonio was a former member of the Clube Recordacoes de Portugal. Survivors include his wife, his sons Joe Fernandes of Dartmouth and Victor Fernandes of Fairhaven. His daughters Maria Pinto, Elizabeth Rodrigues and Deolinda Macedo all of Fairhaven. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. His private funeral services were under the care of the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd.
