Arthur Martin 83 of Acushnet passed away Saturday December 22, 2012 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Highlander in Fall River. he was born in Lincoln, RI and had lived in Acushnet for many years. Mr. Martin was a heavy equipment operator for D.W. White until his retirement. Survivors include his longtime companion Helen Hainault of Acushnet; his brother John Martin of Somerset; his sisters Theresa Ferdinand of New Bedford and Frances Frezza of Mattapoisett. At his request he was cremated.
