Barbara Miller

December 15, 1994 — January 9, 2017

Barbara Jean Miller, 22, died unexpectedly on January 9, 2017.  Born in New Bedford, MA, she graduated from New Bedford High School in 2012, received an Associates Degree from BCC and was working on obtaining her Bachelors from Mass Dartmouth. She was currently employed as a teller at Bank of America in Fairhaven. From a young age, Barbara (aka "Beej") was an adventurer. She travelled with her grandmother Candess to Disney and Cedar Point where there was no fear to ride the fastest and wildest in said parks. In these younger years, she'd hang out with her friends including Nick and Jared, spending many days at Jared's grandmother Shirley's home having fun. Then once upon a time, she met her Prince, Dylan Sell, who swept her off her feet at a tender age. I believe 7th grade it was. (correct me if I'm wrong...) this was the beginning of a love that blossomed and survived for over ten whole years. The Prince and Princess brought the beautiful Hazyl L. Sell into their kingdom.  A loving, wonderful little darling who is inquisitive and wise beyond her 6 years..  How we all love this little girl Hazyl; Such a blessing you both gave all of us. Her beloved Mom was a talented artist, who loved music and could also play the saxophone. Such a flair for fashion; always looking up to date and beautiful. Barbara also loved to travel~She vacationed on more than one occasion with Dylan to Cancun.  They went to Virginia Beach, NYC , and Mt. Washington to name a few places. She also spent many times at her Aunt Rene's house in New Hampshire and camping with Dylan's Mom, Kathy, dad, Brad and family. Kathy and Barbara loved to go to the beach in the summer. Barbara is survived by her loving parents, Hope A. Miller and William G. Mello who loved Barbara more than life itself and had dreams and aspirations for their daughter,~ Her big sister,  Sabrina Mello, Her beloved Grandmother, who is also her Godmom, Candies Snow of Ohio and her grandfather Gerald Anacleto of NB.  She was predeceased by her late grandparents, Barbara (Sylvia) Ellison and William DeMello. and her uncles, Morris D. Ray and Richard S. Dunn. Her love of her life, and hers and his first love,  Dylan Sell and their beautiful, loved to the moon and back, daughter, Hazyl L. Sell, Kathy and Bradford Sell (Dylan's parents and Hazy's beloved grandparents) and their son Justin. Her Auntie Rene and her cousins KC, Nikki and Winter. Her Auntie Robin Ray who she helped care for. Friends Kerri and Molly  (To name a few...) and her dear, dear friend, Michael Mipourian of Fairhaven, who was with Barbara through thick and thin and has been so supportive to the family throughout this difficult time We would like to thank  Michael daSilva and son Andrew at Boulevard Funeral Home for their kindness to the family at this difficult time. Services are to be held, Thursday, January 26th, 2017 between 5pm and 8pm at Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Boulevard in New Bedford, MA.
~~ This part of your journey is only the beginning.  No more suffering, only peace and the love we ALL  carry for you in our hearts~
just as you carried the love for us.  Gone but never to be forgotten.  Barbara Jean Miller 12/15/94~1/9/17.  Sleep easy, our angel....
