Bella Fonseca

Bella (Goulet) Fonseca 94 of New Bedford passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at the Oak’s. She was the wife of the late George Fonseca and daughter of the late Phillip and Josephine (Blanchard) Goulet. She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was a communicant of St. Joseph – St. Therese Church. Bella was a very religious person. She loved to crochet, knit and was well loved by all. Survivors include her son Timothy Fonseca; her daughters Mary Ann Vieira, Louise Alves and Rose Ann St. Jacques all of New Bedford. 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late George P. Fonseca. Her funeral mass will be said 9am Saturday at St. Joseph – St. Therese Church. Visiting hours are Friday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
