Benjamin Barreiro
April 28, 1923 — November 5, 2009
Benjamin Barreiro age 86 of New Bedford, died on Thursday November 5, 2009, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Elsie (Gracia) Barreiro and son of the late Edward and Rose Amelia (DosSantos) Barreiro. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Barreiro was a communicant of St. Kilian church. He was formerly employed by J.C. Rhodes as a statistician until his retirement. He was a member of APICS and was a graduate of New Bedford High School class of 1941. Survivors include his brother Joseph Barreiro of New Bedford, his sister Albertina Cardinale of East Hanover, NJ and several nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be said 10am Monday November 9, 2009 at St. Kilian church. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday November 8, 2009 2-4pm.
