Bridget Hargraves

Bridget (Ledwell) Hargraves 96 of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, October 28 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the widow of William Hargraves and daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Moriaty) Ledwell. She was born on Nantucket and had lived in New Bedford for many years. She was formerly employed as a a religious education director. Survivors include her son Sean Hargraves and his companion Gina Ptaszenski of New Bedford; her daughter Patricia Bettger of Penn.; her brother Paul Ledwell of WV; her grandchildren Jill Monahan and Adam Connolly and her great grandchildren Maggie Monahan, Grace Monahan and Ceceila Connolly. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated.
