Carlos Resendes

Carlos Resendes 95 of New Bedford passed away Saturday February 28, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Health and Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Deolinda (Correia) Resendes. He was born in St. Michael, Azores and lived for many years in New Bedford. Mr. Resendes worked as a Machine Operator for many years. Survivors include his sister-in-law Cesaltina Melo of Thunder Bay, Canada and several nieces and nephews in this area and Thunder Bay. He was the brother-in-law of the late Isolina DaCosta, Maria Vieira, and Evone Isidoro. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5th from 8-9 am followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Parish in New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
