Carlos A. Santos

Carlos A. Santos, 48, of New Bedford, passed away at Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital on Thursday, September 10, 2026. 

Born in Murtosa, Portugal, he was the son of Henrique Santos and the late Maria Isabel (Miranda) Santos. 

He is survived by his father, Henrique Santos; his son, McKyle Santos; his sister, Maria Pacheco and her husband Paulo of New Bedford; one niece, three nephews, three great-nieces, and one great-nephew. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Maria Isabel (Miranda) Santos, and his brother, Henrique Santos. 

Carlos will be remembered by his family and friends and will be missed by those who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, Carlos will be cremated, with a Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
