Carol Lauzon

Carol A. (Crompton) Lauzon 80 of New Bedford passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 at St. Luke’s hospital. She was the widow of Maurice Lauzon and daughter of the late John W. and Florence E. (Anderton) Crompton. She was born in New Bedford and had lived here most of her life. She was formerly employed by the New Bedford School Dept. as a secretary until her retirement. Survivors include her son J. Stephen Lauzon and his wife Nicole of New Bedford; her daughter Janice V. Chance of North Carolina; her brothers Stewart Crompton of Florida, and Robert Crompton of New Hampshire; her grandchildren Stephen J. Lauzon, Ashlee Lauzon and Tara Chance. Her funeral mass will be said 10am TUESDAY at St. Kilians Church. Visiting hours are SUNDAY 4-7.Cremation will follow.
