Cathy A. Arruda 55 of New Bedford passed away September 8, 2015 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James Roger Arruda and Mary (Rua) Arruda. She was a lifelong New Bedford resident. She was employed by the Standard Times as a delivery person. Survivors include her sister Charlene Swainamer of New Hampshire, her brothers James Roger Arruda of Florida and David Arruda of Iowa. At the request of her family she was cremated.
