Christine Fouquette

January 6, 1961 — February 10, 2013

Christine D. “Tina” Fouquette, 52, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at St.
Luke’s Hospital following a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Aime Fouquette and Delores Pietrass, she lived her younger years in Fairhaven before moving to New Bedford.

Tina was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, class of 1979, attended S.M.U. and graduated from B.C.C. with a degree in accounting.

She had worked for the New Bedford School Department in the cafeteria for several years and
previously worked as a waitress for 20 years. She also had a business at home baking breads.

Tina loved to cook and enjoyed planting her flowers in the spring. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots
fan. Tina cared for everyone and went out of her way for others. She was adored by many, especially those closest to her, and will sorely be missed.

Survivors include her soul mate, Mario Pacheco; her sons, Jared Pacheco and Kevin Pacheco all of New
Bedford; her sisters, Nancy L. Ford of Fairhaven and Donna Araujo and her husband Edwin Medina of
New Bedford; her nephew and niece, Gary and Kimberly Ford; and her uncle, Lionel "Bill" Dulude.

Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 9 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Visiting hours Friday February 15, 2013 4-7pm in the Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford. Flowers welcome or donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
