Clotilde (Cardoza) Mello 103 of New Bedford passed away Thursday April 2, 2015 at the Oak's. She was the wife of the late Manuel F. Motta and the late Charles Mello. She was born in the Azores and had lived in New Bedford for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in New Bedford. Clotilde was a stitcher at various clothing manufacturing companies until her retirement. Survivors include her son Richard F. Motta of Irving,Texas; 2 grandsons and their familes, also nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be said 9:30am Thursday at St. Mary's church in New Bedford. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
