Dorothy (Jones) Costa 76 of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday July 10, 2010. She was the wife of the late Danny O. Costa and daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Brady) Jones. She was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. She was formerly employed by the Standard Times as an executive secretary until her retirement. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods. Survivors include her sisters Alice Clough of Norfolk, VA and Helen Leach of South Dartmouth; a niece Nancy Smith of Dartmouth, a nephew Frank Sylvia of Norfolk, VA and many other nieces and nephews. Her funeral service with her cremated remains present will be held Wednesday 6:30 pm.
