Edward Blechar
November 4, 1954 — November 7, 2011
Edward Blechar 57 of New Bedford passed away at home on Monday November 7, 2011. He was the son of the late Edward F. and Minnie A. (Holmes) Blecharczyk. He was born in Acushnet and had lived in this area all of his life. He was formerly employed as a bus driver for Active Day. Survivors include his daughters Kathy Dextraze of New Bedford, Mary Rose of Dartmouth, Faith Rose of R.I.; his brothers Michael Blechar of New Bedford, George Honeyman of AZ; his sisters Barbara Frakes of New Bedford, Kathleen Mancuso of FL; his grandchildren Christina Dextraze, Ruby Brown, Bryce Rose, Donovan Rose, Alexis Rose, David Dextraze; several nieces and nephews including Amanda DaSilva and Joel Blechar. His visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8pm.
