George Soares

George Soares, 88, of New Bedford passed away Friday, July 7th. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Manuel Soares and the late Edwina Soares. He worked for many years at Cliftex Corp. George was a devout catholic and could regularly be found helping out at many of the local churches. He is survived by his nephews; Edwin Reis, Michael Reis; several great nephews, nieces and many cousins. His visitation will be Wednesday, July 12th from 5pm-7pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 13th at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception at 10am. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
