Harold Ferdinand

Harold T. “Harry” “Red” Ferdinand 86 of New Bedford passed away Tuesday March 22, 2016 at home. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Martin) Ferdinand, who passed away March 19, 2016, and son of the late Harold and Doris (Green) Ferdinand. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Harold was formerly employed as a service man for AmeriGas for over 40 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. Survivors include his son Harold D. Ferdinand of New Bedford; his sisters June Creeden of Swansea and Sheila Federico of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. At his request he will be cremated and his funeral services will be held at a later date.
