Helio Meneses

Helio F. Meneses 45 of Acushnet passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 4, 2010. He was the son of Francesca (Fonseca) DeMeneses of New Bedford and the late Manuel C. DeMeneses. He was born in Terceira, Azores and had lived in the greater New Bedford area all of his life. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church. Mr. Meneses’ was a self employed mason and will be missed by his employees and business associates. Survivors include his mother; his daughters Monica Meneses of New Bedford, Victoria Meneses of New Bedford; his brother Ricardo Meneses of New Bedford; his sisters Filomena Oliveira, Belmira Medeiros, Manuela Sousa, Eva Marques all of New Bedford, Anne Lee of Taunton; many nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be said 11:30am Monday at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church. Visitation will be Sunday 6-9pm.Burial will be in Acushnet cemetery.
