Irene Beahn

Irene(Daigneault) Beahn, 85, of New Bedford passed away Saturday, April 24th at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Armand Daigneault and Florence (Lemaire). She was the wife of the late Walter Beahn. Irene worked for many years as a machine operator at Aegis, Inc. She is survived by her son; Wayne Ponte and wife Debra of New Bedford; grandchildren; Kacy Scieszka, Kelly Cortes, Jessica Jorge, Jamie Ponte, and Tanya Ponte; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great granchildren. She was also the mother of the late Gail Ponte. In accordance with the families wishes all services will be private.
