Jarid DaCunha

Jarid DaCunha 22 of New Bedford passed away Friday August 5, 2011 from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was the son of Victor and Ana (Couto) DaCunha. He was a lifelong New Bedford resident. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic for American Pride Seafood. Jarid was a 2007 graduate of NBVTHS. He loved life, riding his motorcycle and his ATV, spending time with his family and especially family vacations. Survivors include his parents; his paternal grandmother Elisa L. DaCunha of New Bedford; his maternal grandmother Conceicao (Melo) Couto of Achadinha, Azores; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents and many friends. He was the grandson of the late Ilidio F. DaCunha and Jose (Policia) Couto. His funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday at the funeral home.Visitation will be Tuesday 9-11am. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery
