Jeannine Madeira

Jeannine (Despres) Madeira 67 of New Bedford passed away Monday January 25, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Beatrice (Allain) Despres Sr. She was born in Acushnet and lived in this area all of her life. She was a communicant of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church. Jeannine was formerly employed by Webster Bank as a teller until her retirement. Survivors include her brother Fred Despres Jr. and his wife Jackie of South Dartmouth; her sisters Lucille Silva and Lorraine Rose and her husband Arthur all of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late Fred Silva. A funeral mass with her cremated remains present will be said 9am Saturday February 6 at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church. Burial will be private.
