Jose A. Calvao

Jose A. Calvao, 63, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Chaves, Portugal he was the loving son of the late Antonio S. Calvao and the late Maria Sousa Calvao and brother of the late Manuel A. Calvao.

Joe was a man of many hobbies and interests who enjoyed staying active and involved in his community. He dedicated much of his time to charitable and nonprofit organizations, always looking for ways to help others. A self-employed business owner, Joe built a career in promotional apparel, taking pride in his work. Above all else, Joe was a devoted father. He put many of his outside interests aside to focus on raising and supporting his two daughters, Bella & Savanah who were the center of his life and his greatest source of pride. 

Joe is survived by his daughters Bella Calvao, Savanah Calvao; brothers Adriel Calvao and his wife Jami, Kenneth Calvao and his wife Amy; nephew, Tim Calvao and nieces Jennifer Viveiros, Carrie Amaral, Lindsey Calvao, Peyton Calvao, Makenna Calvao.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 8:00am-10:30am at the Boulevard Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 10:30am followed by committal in St. John's Cemetery.
