Madeline Machado

Private funeral services will be held for Madeline (Joyal) Machado 85 of New Bedford who passed away Sunday September 28, 2014 at the Oak’s. She was the wife of Richard “Ricky” Machado and daughter of the late Philemon and Rosa Alma (Lahaie) Joyal. She was born in Canada and lived in New Bedford for many years. Mrs. Machado was formerly employed as a supervisor at Lambeth Rope, until her retirement. Survivors include her husband; her son Serge Heroux of New Bedford; her grandsons Joseph and Brian Heroux; 4 great grandchildren; her brother Marcel Joyal of Canada; her sisters Annette Lauzon and Lise Rivet both of Canada. She was the sister of the late Maurice Joyal, Terese Lapage, Denise Fillon, and Pauline Trottier.
