Manuel Silvia Jr. 88 of North Dartmouth passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at the Hathaway Manor. He was the husband of Eva (Sansoucy) Silvia and son of the late Manuel and Jennie (Nunes) Silvia. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He was formerly employed by Reynolds Bottle Gas as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was a life member of te Dartmouth VFW. Survivors include his wife and his sister Mary Farley of CT. In accordance with his wishes he was cremated and his cremains will be intered at the Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
