Maria D Pimental

Maria D. Pimental 79, who brought happiness and support to everyone around her, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. Born in Ponte Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, she was a true friend to many, always there to lend a helping hand and share in the joy of being together. Maria dedicated her life to being a homemaker, creating a loving and warm environment for her family. Her life was filled with laughter, friendship, and a deep sense of community.

She is survived by her husband, Norbert Pimental of Dartmouth; her sons, Robert S. Pimental of Dartmouth and Paul R. Pimental of Fairhaven; her daughters, Kimberly A. Ferreira of Somerset; Tracy I. Pimental of New Bedford; her brother, Alfonse Perriera of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

Five grandchildren: Erica Thomas; Brittany DeMita; Devin Pimental; Sierra Oliver; and Tarah Ferreira. Four great-grandchildren: Audrey Thomas; Blair Thomas; Caleb DeMita; and Amelia DeMita, all who will forever cherish her memory. Maria was the daughter of the late Natalia Rafael Medeiros and sister of the late Jose Gil ‘Zac’ Medeiros.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
