Mary DeCosta

Mary (Tavares) DeCosta passed away at the Southeastern Mass Health & Rehab. Center after a long illness. She was the wife of the late William Noble and the late Anthony "Tony" DeCosta. She was the daughter of the late Mariano and Alexandrina Tavares. She was the mother of Sheila Tetreault and mother-in-law of David Tetreault of Acushnet. She was the grandmother of Richard Mattos Jr. of New Hampshire; great greandmother of Alicia Mattos, Tiffany Mattos, Sage Mattos and Keira Mattos all of New Hampshire. She was the sister of John Tavares of Acushnet, Flo Bergeron of Acushnet and Kathy Barnard of MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including her special nephew John Tavares. She was the sister of the late Marty Tavares and aunt of the late Ricky Bergeron. Mary's family would like to thank the nursing staff, nurses aides and all of the workers at the Southeastern Mass. Health & Rehab. Center who became like family to mom the last 2 months that she was there, they were very kind to all of us. The burial of her cremated remains will be private.
