Miguel Teixeira

Miguel Teixeira 56 of Fairhaven, formerly of New Bedford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 5, 2011 at St. Luke's hospital. He was the son of Laurinda (Quintal) Teixeira of Fairhaven and the late Jose Teixeira. He was a lifelong greater New Bedford area resident. He was a member of the Clube Sport Madeirense, he enjoyed be at Project Independence. Survivors include his mother, his brothers Paul Teixeira and his wife Jennifer of New Bedford, Jose Teixeira of Acushnet; his sister Arminda; his nieces and nephews Jose Jr., Lawrence, Jose Miguel, Shauna, Danny, Elijah Lawrence, Ricky and David; a great niece Ja-Lynn; his caretaker and sister-in-law Angie, Janelle,Missy and Charlie Tetreault. The family would like to thank Charlie Murphy, Bev Abatheny and Ann McQuirk for making Miguel's life easier. His graveside service will be 1pm Monday in the St. Paul section of St. John's cemetery.
