Paul Bosi

Truly beloved father, brother, and friend to all he met, Paul W. Bosi, 84, recently passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a short illness in Fall River, on September 12.

The son of the late William L. Bosi and the late Clorinda Genevieve (DePaola) Bosi and the loving and devoted husband to Patricia (Reagan) Bosi for over 50 years until her passing in 2016. He leaves three daughters; Joy Viveros and her husband Derek of Tiverton, Kerri Bosi and her husband Robert Medeiros of Fall River and Lori Bosi and her wife Lynda (Baude) of Bristol; one brother, William L. Bosi, Jr., and his wife Anne (Lamoureux) of Fort Myers, Florida; several grandchildren, Jason Santos and Jamie Pacheco and her wife Mary, Elliott and Reagan Bosi-Baude and a great granddaughter, Mia Santos as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bosi resided in Fall River his entire life, was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and was employed by the Fall River Gas Company as an engineer and serviceman. 

Remembered as a humble man whose love and devotion to family were his strongest attributes, he was somehow able to bring out the best in everyone he came in contact with. His wit, charm and friendly personality were his trademarks. 

While slowly rocking and puffing on his pipe, or entertaining those around him with his stories and philosophy on life, he was able to capture the attention and admiration of his listeners as well as relating to them with unforgettable moments in time. 

Unpretentious and unassuming, his life was devoted to others around him, from the elderly lady whose heat was out on a cold winter night to his minions of children sitting wide-eyed and quietly listening to his extraordinary tales. 

It is impossible to relate how this one simple man was able to touch and affect the lives of those he came in contact with, but the lives of those who knew him will forever be imprinted with the remembrance of his smile, his thumbs up sign, and his favorite comment... " I love you better".
