Paul J. Ferreira

Paul J. Ferreira, 86, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in New Bedford, Paul was the son of the late Louis Ferreira and Elsie (Alua) Ferreira and loving husband of Clotilde (Correira) Correia.

Paul was a longtime Inspector and maintenance employee at Chamberlain and Tabor Mill, where he dedicated many years of service. Outside of work, Paul enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and was a former member of the Saints MC. He loved visiting the mountains of New Hampshire, where he could enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Paul also had a love for movies and trips to the theater, especially classic Westerns starring John Wayne. He cherished spending time with friends and family over a meal at Sweet Ginger.

Survivors include his son; Dwayne Ferreira; sisters, Eileen Moniz, Barbara Miller; grandchildren, Isaiah, Sydney, Sheena, Ross, Marissa; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by his son, Curtis Ferreira and brother, Armand Ferreira.

In accordance with his wishes, Paul will be cremated.
