Peter Sylvia

Peter J. Sylvia 51 of South Dartmouth passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late Joseph L. and Grace E. (Prescott) Sylvia. Peter was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He loved his many friends at Seven Hills. Survivors include his brother Wayne A. Sylvia and his wife Lori of South Dartmouth and his nephews Wayne J. Sylvia and Cody J. Sylvia. He is also survivors by aunts, uncles and cousins. His visitation will be Saturday 8-8:45am, followed by his funeral mass at the Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9am.Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
