Primitivo "Primo" Rios Jr.

Primitivo "Primo" Rios Jr., 67, of New Bedford, passed away at home on Friday, January 9, 2025. Born on October 1, 1958 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Primitivo Rios Sr. and the late Irene (Arruda) Rios.

Primo was a lover of vintage and antique cars, finding joy in the craftsmanship, history, and stories behind every vehicle. Working for many years in an auto body shop, He took great pride in restoring, repairing, and bringing new life to old machines. He was a dedicated parishioner of the Christian Fellowship Center.

Primitivo is survived by his sisters, Alice DaPonte, Mary Rios; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his children, Curtis Rios, Crystal Rios and his sister, Rosa Silva.

In accordance with his wishes, Primitivo will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Christian Fellowship Center at a day and time to be announced.
