Rev. Normand Boulet

Rev. Normand Joseph Boulet 74 of New Bedford passed away Monday March 23, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in New Bedford he was the son of the late Oliva Arthur Boulet and Lumena Elizabeth (Langevin) Boulet. Rev. Boulet graduated from St. Anthony grammar school and high school. He also graduated from St. Our Lady of Providence Seminary in RI, St. Mary College in Kentucky and St. Mary Seminary in Maryland. He was ordained on May 3, 1969 at St. Mary Cathedral in Fall River by the Most Rev. James L. Connolly DD. He was assigned to many parishes in the Fall River Diocese. Rev. Boulet was devoted to St. Joseph and next to being a priest the most important thing to him was being a Frenchman. He was a staunch Republican and enjoyed following politics and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Survivors include several cousins. He was the brother of the late Gerald Boulet. His funeral mass and burial were private.
