Richard "Ricky" Machado

Richard “Ricky” Machado 80 of New Bedford passed away Sunday July 26, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Joyal) Machado. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. Richard was formerly employed as a machine operator at Revere Copper and Brass. Survivors include his children Richard Machado Jr., Sharon Pellitier and Michelle Machado – Walsh all of New Bedford. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. His funeral mass will be 10:30am on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial of his cremains will be in St. John's Cemetery.
