Ronald Brown

Ronald C. Brown 71 of Fairhaven passed away Saturday August 22, 2015 at home. He was the husband of Beverly (Rodrigues) Brown and son of the late Pearl and Fern (Ruff) Brown. He was born in Shelton, WA and joined the U.S. Navy in 1962. He was stationed in Newport, RI for 2 years and met Bev in 1963 at the Lincoln Park Ballroom. They would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4. He was a teamster truck driver for 20 years working for Anchor Motor Freight and Allied Motor Freight. Ronald was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife; his children, Rhonda Brown Bradshaw and her husband Mark of New Bedford, Ronald Brown Jr. of Fairhaven, Robin Dyer and her husband Chris of Maine. His grandchildren Dylan Brown, Richard Johnson, Jake Bradshaw and Brooke Dyer. He is also survived by 3 sisters in the state of Washington and many nieces and nephews. A visitation with his cremated remains present will be held Sunday 24pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southcoast VNA Hospice Program at Community Affairs Southcoast VNA 200 Mill Rd. Fairhaven, MA 02719. Burial will be private.
