Shawn DaSilva

Shawn DaSilva, 31 of New Bedford passed away Saturday, June 5th at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Manuel DaSilva and Lucy Viveiros. Shawn loved fishing and drawing and was fascinated by taking apart all types of electronic devices. He was known to carry on conversations with everyone like they were his best friend. Shawn is survived by his parents; children, Jeremiah DaSilva, Kasandra DaSilva, Leandra DaSilva; sister Melissa Alves and husband Shawn; grandmother, Clementina DaSilva; nieces and nephews, Daijon Andrade, who was also his Godchild, Jose Mendez, Natalya Mendez, Emanuel DaSilva and Aubriana Alves; Godparents, Madelena Avila and Carlos Viveiros; and many Aunts and Uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Joao DaSilva, Idilina and Antonio Viveiros. Shawn’s Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shawn’s Family.
