Vincent Paul Jasinski, 65 of New Bedford, entered in to eternal life, surrounded by his loving family. Wednesday, August 15 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of Hilda (Correia) Jasinski of New Bedford and the late Mitchell S. Jasinski. He was born in New Bedford and lived here all of his life. Vincent was a greeter and collector at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Vincent attended Immaculate Conception School, Normandin Jr. High School, and took night courses at New Bedford High School. He enjoyed the parish feasts and their processions. He was a member of the Senhor da Pedra Club and the Holy Name Society of his parish. Since the 1970’s Vincent was a member of the Men of the Sacred Heart , which entails bringing a statue of the Pilgrim Virgin Mary to various homes where the rosary would be prayed every Friday evening. Had a faithful devotion to our Lady and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as well as family Christmases and the special love he shared with his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He enjoyed going to Table 8, Whoopee pies and doing Donald Duck impressions His family would to thank the staff of Century 4 for all their kind and compassionate care of Vincent. Survivors include his mother; his brothers Stanley Jasinski of New Bedford, Gregory Jasinski and his wife Janet of Freetown; his sisters Marianne Moura and her husband Antonio of New Bedford and Rita Campoli and her husband Russell of New Bedford. His nieces and nephews Timothy Moura and his wife Kathy of Lakeville, Jennifer Moniz and her husband Christopher of Dartmouth, Anthony Moura and his wife Amy of Fall River, Caroline Jasinski of Boston, Christine Dedrick and her husband Brian of Taunton, Katherine Jasinski of Situate, Michael Jasinski of South Boston, Stephanie Jasinski of Fall River, John Campoli of Somerville and Rachel Campoli of New Bedford. His great nieces and nephews Nicholas, Addison Rose, Evan, Nathaniel, Kate, Shea and Benjamin. He is also survived by his uncles Arthur “Archie “ Correia and his wife Barbara of Dartmouth, Donald Spooner of Fairhaven and his aunt Shirley Correia of Yarmouth. Also many cousins. He also leaves behind close friends Carlos Mendonca and Billy Viveiros. His funeral mass will be held 10:30am Friday,August 17 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours will be 5-8pm Thursday. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. For directions and guest book please visit www.boulevardfh.com.
