Amado "Pete" Pinto

Amado “Pete” Pinto, 93, of New Bedford passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was the husband of the late Beverly (Vickery) Pinto and son of the late Joao B. Pinto and the late Inez A. (Pippa) Pinto. He was born in New Bedford and had lived in this area all of his life. Pete was the owner of a service station before he retired. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII. Survivors include his son Glenn Pinto of New Bedford, his daughter Pamela Pinto of Texas, 2 sisters Cesaltina “Sally” Mancini and Celeste Sylvia. He was predeceased by sisters; Isaura Fernandez and Laura Pinto and brothers; Antone "Tony" Pinto, Manual Pinto, and Candido "Kenny" Pinto . In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
