She was the daughter of the late George and Helena (Zakareados) Jimoulis and wife of the late Gregory Kronteres. Born in New Bedford, Catherine spent her life on the Southcoast where she was a graduate of New Bedford High School class of 1939. Survivors include her son, James Kronteres and wife Helen of Dartmouth; daughter-in-law, Deborah Kronteres; Catherine’s wonderful grandchildren and their families, including 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Catherine is preceded in death by her son, William (Bill) Kronteres, and her daughter Georgia McDonald.
