Filomena Andrade

Filomena (Maciel) Andrade 62 of New Bedford passed away suddenly, at home, on Friday April 3, 2020. She was the wife of the late Carlos Andrade and daughter of the late Joao and Helena (Pacheco) Maciel. Filomena was born in Terceira, Azores and had lived in New Bedford for many years. She was employed as a stitcher at Cliftex. Survivors include her son Nicholas Santos of New Bedford; her daughter Kelly Rezendes of Acushnet; her brothers Manny Maciel and Joao Maciel both of New Bedford; her sisters Fatima Rego of Florida, Adriana Arruda of New Bedford and Vidalia Viegas of Dartmouth. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Coalition for Animals 834 Kempton St. New Bedford, MA 02740
