I wish to extend my condolences to Hilda’s loved ones on behalf of the Dube family. We had the pleasure of meeting Hilda when she was admitted to the same nursing facility as my Dad.. She often shared many warm smiles with us while joined in the dining room or activity room listening to musicians or DJ’s . She was a breath of fresh air and was always pleasant and appreciative when we offered her company. May her family find peace and comfort knowing she is resting with the angels.

My sympathies and condolences to Hildas whole family. Hilda was such a joy to work with and my life has definitely been touched by her life and death. We had a great team that provided Hilda with top care and I was fortunate enough to have been one of her first home caregivers. I met her beautiful soul and will never forget when she would call me her baby. Wanted to be by her side until her last day even though plans changed. I remember when she would caress my face so softly with her hands. I remember how she would remember 50s music and sing along while dancing in her chair. I remember how happy and excited she would get when i would dance swing for her and she would say "go girl you got the moves." Had been away and still kept her always on my mind. Will always remember her kind gentle funny bubbly soul. I am sorry that I wasn't with her until the end. No matter what i will never forget how much love, care and tenderness i felt towards Hilda. Hilda was so appreciative of everything we did for her and I will always remember how much love she showed us. Hilda was patient understanding quiet sometimes or really a comedian. Hilda was humble with a huge love for her family. She loved spending time with her family and always had a smile for those she loved. Hilda loved sunshine and sitting outdoors. Hilda always wanted to know about my children and how they were doing. Am blessed to have been mentioned as one of her caregivers. Loved Hilda and love you all who loved her. May god give you all strength to keep in love for Hilda. Rest in Peace my sweet Hilda, my little pumpkin pie. Gone but never forgotten. Sincerely, Rebecca❤💔😢😥💌😭

Sorry for your loss. I'm not sure but Hilda may have been a childhood friend of my sister-Fernanda Sousa- Did Hilda grow up in the Belleville Avenue area? Have always looked/tried to find her. Thank you
