John Medeiros

November 4, 1926 — January 30, 2020

John A. Medeiros, 93 of Acushnet passed away peacefully on January 30th at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Bedford the son the late Manuel Aguiar Medeiros and Rosalina Medeiros and the husband of Pauline (Cambra) Medeiros. John was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a WWII veteran where he served in the Army. John loved woodworking, gardening and spending the summers on the beaches of Cape Cod. John is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; his brother Manuel A Medeiros Jr & sister, Dorothy Daniels and husband Kenneth, all of Acushnet; many nieces and nephews. John’s Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 4th at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception at 10:30AM with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from 9-10AM, preceding Mass, at Boulevard Funeral Home, 223 Ashley Blvd New Bedford, MA 02746. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
