Maria Santos

Maria Isabel (Miranda) Santos 72 of New Bedford passed away Monday October 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Henrique F. Santos and daughter of the late Manuel Luis Esteves Miranda and the late Maria Do Carmo (Melioa) Miranda. She was born in Murtosa, Portugal and had lived in New Bedford since 1979. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was employed as a laborer for Columbus Cable, Carol Cable and Seaview Fishery Corp. Survivors include her husband, her sons Henrique M. Santos and his wife Paula, Carlos A. Santos and her daughter Maria Do Carmo Pacheco and her husband Paulo all of New Bedford. She is also survived by her brother Benjamin Miranda of Portugal, her sister Helena Pinho of New Jersey, her grandchildren Cassandra A. Galan, McKyle Santos, Cody A. Santos, Kyle Pacheco and Anderson Pacheco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. At the request of her family, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her family.
